How many lightsabers did Obi-Wan have in ANH?

He gives Luke his father's lightsaber in the beginning of the movie (which incidentally is the one with which ole' Vader cut down the kids in the Jedi temple... thankfully Luke wasn't told about that), and he has the one with which he fights Vader on the Death Star.
The thing that kinda bogged me is that the lighsaber Luke is given on Tatooine has a blue blade, but when he's practicing on the Falcon, that lighsaber is definitively green, and you can see in the movie that when Luke is practicing Obi-Wan has another lightsaber attached to his belt.

I think the lightsaber Obi-Wan uses against Vader isn't the one he gave Luke, because Luke still had his later on in Hoth and when he fought Vader in Episode V. So, what's the green one?

My supposition is that since the Jedi order was all but destroyed after the famous 'order 66' Obi-Wan took with him the lightsabers he could find before going to Tattoine so that he would have many of them (since who else would take them? There was only him and Yoda left). But then what happens to that green lightsaber Luke has on the Falcon?

I watched the Falcon scene again on the 1995 VHS (which is the original version, before the 1997 modifications) and the lightsaber Luke uses in that version seems to be just white, without any color. This leads me to believe that the green was added later, for some reason.

Anyone has an idea?

Well in the 2004 DVD it definitively looks green.

If you compare with the limited editions version of the 1977 release, it's interesting to note that the color was not originally green.

In 1977 that lightsaber was definitively blue, although it did look more white than blue in some scenes, but in the 2004 version it really does look like they changed it to green. I has to be voluntary, because why would they change the color? In those screencaps I posted it looks very clear.

Well the green color onboard the Falcon was a glitch, a result of Geroge Lucas rushing the OT DVDs. It is supposed to be blue all the time, thus meaning that Ben only had two sabers in ANH.
