This has made the rounds among my friends on both MySpace and Live Journal, and we've had some kicks with it.

So the game is, ask me any 7 questions...

No matter how random, revealing, rude, naughty or pointless...

I promise to answer them 100% truthfully. Well, depending on the question, to protect the innocent, we better make that 99% truthfully. I gotta be able to take the 5th at some point!

1. Do you go on the Galactic Senate every day?
2. Do you wish to be referred to as "~, the user formally known as Tovor"?
3. Do I really have to think of seven questions to ask you?
4. Is your face on a jigsaw puzzle?
5. Have you ever scooped up a cup of snow and added syrup?
6. Is seven your favourite number?
7. Are you sitting on a magenta chair right now?

There. Seven purely ridiculous questions.

1. Do you go on the Galactic Senate every day?
It seems like it, but I don't think so.
2. Do you wish to be referred to as "~, the user formally known as Tovor"?
Yes, until I get tired of it.
3. Do I really have to think of seven questions to ask you?
Yes. You can do it though, I have faith in you.
4. Is your face on a jigsaw puzzle?
Nope. But my personality is a puzzle.
5. Have you ever scooped up a cup of snow and added syrup?
Not per se, but I have had Slurpies from 7-11 when I was a teenager. Same thing. (7-11 is a convienance store in the US, and a Slurpie is like a slushy drink)
6. Is seven your favourite number?
Yes.
7. Are you sitting on a magenta chair right now?
No. I am sitting on a black chair.

Will you ever write stories again?

What's the funniest memory in as little possible words from chilhood?

Where is the place you would most like to visit in the world?

When was the last time you answered someone with some type of star wars dialogue and they never caught on?(because I do this. lol)

When was the last time you went to the zoo?

Would you ever move from Florida and if so where?

Did Javen ask good questions?

Will you ever write stories again?
Yes indeedy, without a sliver of a doubt.
What's the funniest memory in as little possible words from chilhood?
When I was 5 and took a dump in the bathtub. And when my parents came in and saw it I tried to deny I did it, and said "It wasn't me, it fell from the ceiling!"
Where is the place you would most like to visit in the world?
Japan. I love the culture, the architecture, and their sushi places must be the ultimate.
When was the last time you answered someone with some type of star wars dialogue and they never caught on?(because I do this. lol)
Probably 2 days ago. I do it often.
When was the last time you went to the zoo?
Talk about a long time. I think it was 1989 or 1990. I was in college and me and my buddy were doing a project and we went to the zoo to shot a video documentary. Yes, it was in '90.
Would you ever move from Florida and if so where?
I've told you that I've considered moving to North Carolina. Can you recommend any good cities to live in? I had also thought about moving to Colorado. Outside of the U.S., though, I would love to live in Japan and/or Spain.

Did Javen ask good questions?

MandalorianJF:
OK, here it gous:

1)Would you really answer every question we ask you trustfully?
Yes, 100% trustfully, because I trust that the question you ask is the question you want me to answer.

2)Where are you right now?
In my bedroom at my corner desk, in my condo, in Florida, in the U.S.

3)What do you think you will do in five minutes after you answer this question?
My plan is to shave, brush my teeth, and take a shower. Then get breakfast.

4)Answer the question in this (http://www.galacticsenate.com/showthread.php?t=14225) thread (Which planet do you think would be the best place for a secret military base?).
I would say Coruscant, surprisingly. I don't see anyone launching Star Destroyers and Assault Ships secretly from Coruscant, but the Rebel Alliance surely could. I mean, with all that constant never ending air and space traffic criss-crossing the skies and entering and leaving the system, can they really keep track of every single ship in the atmosphere and in space. I'm sure the EU has an explanation for this, but I think that a crafty covert force could have easily gotten in and out of the system undetected. Heck, Dooku, the puppet head of the Seperatists, did it easily enough while at work with Coruscant.

5)Answer the question in this (http://www.galacticsenate.com/showthread.php?t=14238) thread (Witch army/tribe would you rather be in command of?). BTW, "witch"?
Well, the Geonosian army and the Utapaun army would be both the same, battle droids, and both of them got their tushes handed to them by the Clone forces. I would say the Wookiee army, assisted by clone troopers as in ROTS, and led by Jedi.

6)Have you ever been on a ship?
I once worked and lived on a ship, for about 6 months.

7)Do you wont to go to Alaska?
Yes, I'd love to go there. Being a former photo lab manager, and seeing my many customer's vacation pictures from around the world, countless times for over 10 years, I have a deep respect and appreciation for the natural beauty and visual purity of Alaska.

It was a cruise ship. I was one of the ship photographers. But although it was certainly exciting at first, when you're stuck on a ship all day every day, when even after work you can't leave your job, the excitement wears off.

kopernikuz queries:

1. Where's the beef?
It's in bodisattvah yoda's oven. He finally caved and craved the meat.

2. How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?
Countless studies, both scientific and individual, have been carried out since 1931 when the Tootsie Roll Pop was first introduced unto American tongues (and since, worldwide).
With different people the results are always different. It depends on the texture of the individual tongue, the intensity of the licks, the varying acidity of salivas, ect. In some studies, the results have shown an average of 413 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop.
To get the center quicker you'd have to be a quicker licker; as in enabling your licker to flicker quicker. If you were a quicker licker, your tongue would be slicker, and then the women would love you and over you they'd all begin to bicker..
Now if you were to choose between a Tootise Roll Pop and a British lass, after you pick 'er, you take off her knicker, and then be a slicker and quicker flicker licker. And then when your ears get squeezed really hard, you'll know you got to the center of her Tootsie Roll Pop.

3. Are you driving without auto insurance?
Uh, holy crap, yes. My bill was due on the 27th. :banghead:

4. What number comes next?
69. Have fun.

5. Why did I waste a question with that last one?
Because you were devoid of fresh ideas and it was all you could think of.

6. What is the best tasting color of Pez?
Sour watermelon.

7. Why do three out of seven of my questions suggest an obsession with 80's pop culture?
You're living in the past, my almost middle-aged friend. But it's good memories.

My question is, why do I seem to be turning this thread into the Retort Man sequel? :scratchchin:

Hey Tov, you've been slipping!

1. How is the new job progressing?
-Quite well. I am enjoying it and I'm very impressed with this company.

2. What's the longest relationship you've ever been involved in?
-Over 3 years.

3. What's the first name of the ugliest woman you've ever dated?
- I honestly don't remember her name, I was so drunk when I went with her. Mrs. Frankenstein, maybe. :scratchchin:

4. Which Senator do you know better than any other?
- Blizz and Rolla (tie)

5. How many Senators have you met in person?
- Blizz, Obidobi, Flo Fett, Justin, Leia, T'bone, Horse Head, Goodie, Bob Palpatine, Brookie, Obi-Gates, Siri, Leiaflo, Bluemilk, Arica, 2BQ, Greedo Boy, Luvinna, Jeff Coletti, Darth Danza, and probably a few more who I can't conjur up in my crowded cranium at the moment. And I am sure to meet Sharyntyre at some point, being that he lives but a few miles away from me.

6. What's your favourite music track of all time?
- Either Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue, or Dream On by Aerosmith, or the Imperial March by our boy John.

Questions by Sarah-Leia:

1. Do you like burning mix CDs?
-I don't burn CDs, actually. I never download stuff and burn it. No time to figure out what I'd want to save.

2. Do you like Queen?
- Love Queen when I was younger. I haven't listened to them in a long time but when I do hear one of their tunes from time to time, they bring back fond memories.

3. What colour is your car?
- Darkish red. I call the color maroon. Dodge calls it Inferno Red.

4. When will you change your avatar again?
- Soon, very soon. I'll play it by ear when the time is right to change again.

5. Is it your birthday tomorrow?
- Nope, not till next month.

6. What's your favourite chocolate?
- Chocolate lava cake. It gives me the yums.

7. Are you proud to have the second highest number of posts on the GS?
- I was not aware that I had the 2nd highest post count in GS. That can't be accurate. Heck, I was banned for a year; there is no way I posted so much before and after that year that I still surpassed all but one poster on the board.

Questions by Sharyntyre:

1.do you have an extra Super Bowl ticket?
- I didn't have any tickets at all, so no.

2.What do you think about performers lip-syncing at the Super Bowl?
- It's amazing how easy Prince made it look. I keed, I just said that to urke Rollafett. Prince was smashing in his half-time show. The guy's got great talent, no doubts there. A credit to your race. But Sebulba can still pick a meaner guitar lick, though, me thinks.

3. how many naughty pictures do you see in an average week?
- Counting the ones Fallen One posts in his thread? Count the ones in his thread, and that's your number. :innocent:

4. Do you have any Tattoos?
- Nope, nyet, none, nada.

5. Any (PG-13) guilty pleasures?
- Hmmmm...sushi, Lego, my websites and message board involvement, writing, cheesecake, chocolate lava cake...the list could go on and on.

6. If we all a got a free pass to kill someone, who would you target?
- Rollafett, and then steal his wife.

7. if given a vaction to any where in the world, where would you choose to go, and why?
- Japan. I love the Orient itself, and particularly Japan, for the culture, the architecture, the landscape, the people, and the sushi.

PS. I love your response to the Tootsie Q.

2. Why am I posting here at 4 am?
- You're insomniatic.

3. How do the other vowels feel about Y?

4. Ever give a lady the Danza Slap?
- Indeed I have, and I like it when forgiving women turn the other cheek.

5. What is Stewie Griffin's middle name?
- Gilligan.

6. What's the deal with the pyramid with the floating eye on the one dollar bill?
- Annuit Cœptis, the All-Seeing eye, aka Sauron.

Tovor

Jedi Master Harrison's questions:

1. In 3 sentences or less, what do you think about George Bush (junior)?
He's an incompetant monkey who is too stupid to know how stupid he is, who picked the wrong people to do a job wrong, and made matters much worse for us and the world. I'm not talking about the US soldiers, I'm talking about the ones who planned the war and put them in an unwinnable conflict.

2. What political party have you supported more than any other?
William Jefferson Clinton's wild parties. I heard he was quite the partier. Seriously, the Democrats.

3. Have you ever been to any European countries, if so, which ones?
Never have been; always wanted to. Always wanted to see Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, and there are a few good people in Great Britain (yourself included) I'd like to raise a beer with. And one in Norway.

4. Which lady in the GS would you most like to take for a friendly date?
Oh, there are quite a few. Maybe Star Warz Punk, she's adorable. And Leia is as well.

5. What is your favourite film that involves Marshal Arts?
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, followed closely by Hero and House of Flying Daggers.

6. What colour is your car?
Dark red. The manufacturer calls the color "inferno red".

7. What is the fastest you have ever driven?
Before I totalled my '78 Pontiac Firebird when I was 19, over 120mph.

From Javen:

1. What is one thing in the past would you change?
All my years wasted on things other than my childhood dreams and goals.

2. What's the best thing about the Galactic Senate?
That it's a cyber community of great people; I.E. all the people who are here.

3. How many concerts have you been to?
Nine.

4. Will you ever move to North Carolina?
I still want to, but I don't know when it will happen.

5. Where is the farthest you have ever driven?
From south Florida to Chattanooga, Tn., and from Chattanooga to south Florida. Or maybe when I drove from Chattanooga to New Jersey, and then Long Island. I think that may have been longer, not sure.

6. Ever been on a cruise in the ocean?
In '91 I worked on a cruise ship, so I was on the ocean in a cruise ship all the time, but I don't know if that counts as going on a cruise since it was work and not vacation. Oh wait, I was on a cruise ship with my mom and aunt and uncle and cousins, when I was 15 or 16.

7. What are you wanting to try but haven't?
To get my novels finished and published.

Moisure Felix asks:

1. Would you rather sing on a train, dance in the rain, or feel no pain?
My singing is painful to others, I may slip and fall in the rain and get hurt...so I shall choose feeling no pain, thank you very much.

2. Do you ever have thoughts too terrible to tell another person?
I have often been guilty of not holding back, and revealing too much to people; such as when I see a hot, sexy woman and feel compelled to tell her how she is causing sudden attention and growth in my crotch. I expressed my sexual thoughts to a fine looking gal the other day, inadvertantly forgetting to restrain my inner monologue. She didn't catch all that I had said about her slim legs (albient unshaven in a while), curvacious body, and appealing eyes, so she hobbled closer on her walker and told me she hadn't heard me due to being late for a battery change to her hearing aid. She actually spit all over me when she mumbled her words, and readjusted her dentures and asked me again to tell her again what she hadn't heard me say fully. Other than that, there are sometimes thoughts too terrible to reveal to others that I have, and thus I cannot tell you of them now.

3. Do you hear voices in your head?
All of the time. When people talk to me, I hear their voices in my head. It's all part of that special eardrum-to-brain relationship my ears have.

4. What do you do when you see an endangered animal eating an endangered plant?
I kill it, eat it, and thereby solve my own threat of endangerment due to hunger.

5. Why are you so interesting?
We are all interesting in many ways, so is that a general question regarding why I think that I too am interesting, or are you saying that you find me interesting and want a conclusion as to how and why I can be so? Maybe I can explain it by starting with these quotes:
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.
--M. Scott Peck

The life of the creative man is lead, directed and controlled by boredom. Avoiding boredom is one of our most important purposes.
--Saul Steinberg

Creativity arises out of the tension between spontaneity and limitations, the latter (like the river banks) forcing the spontaneity into the various forms which are essential to the work of art or poem.
--Rollo May

Perhaps it is because I am unhappy with my life and need not only to excite my mind but distract myself from the stress around me, that I strive to think and say differantly the things I'd otherwise say normally, preferring to say that which people don't expect me to say, thus requiring me to think differently in order to ponder the things to say that people wouldn't normally say, leading them to think in ways they had either been on to already yet without exploring such thoughts deeper, or which they hadn't thought, or dared to say, at all.

Does that make sense?

6. Can you restart your food thread? It was quite good.
Yes, I can. I've been so busy lately that I haven't whipped myself up any special meals, but I have bought a different company's assorted vegetables which are cleaner in taste and quality, so I have felt inspired to make some new stir-fries. I'll do that ASAP.

7. Do you believe in Purgatory?
No. I'm not sure I believe in heaven and hell either. But if there is such a thing as either, then the dude in charge hopefully has a more definite means of judgement in which there is no place one needs to go when he just isn't sure about your averaged collection of deeds and doings in the past life you're done doing.

Javen:

1. do you easily get embarrassed?
Nope.

2. what is something that makes you cringe?
Giant cockroaches. The scene in Beerfest where the drunk guy was sucking on the fat chick's toes. In fact, anybody sucking on toes. Seeing or hearing about people being horribly burned. Serious eyeball injuries. Eardrum injuries. When someone takes a dump and forgets to flush. When someone takes a dump and forgets to use a toilet. Dismemberment and castrations. Children being raped/maimed/tortured. The same with animals. And adults.

3. what is a lie you often tell yourself?
I'm going to clean my bedroom, photograph all the things I mean to sell on Ebay and get them listed, and study my work materials soon...very soon. I won't spend another night working online putting all that off, and very soon I will get off the computer and do it all. Very soon. Yes. That's right...soon.

4. what is an experience you've had where you couldn't stop laughing?
Well, because of my head injury, because of the damage to the emotional center of my brain, (this doesn't happen now, thank goodness), when I was school and then college in the first years after my accident, I would have trouble with things making me laugh, things that were or weren't even funny, and not being able to control it.

In high school I had an annoying friend named Anthony. He used to make this strange noise with his mouth by pushing his lips together hard and parting them quickly, which has an odd echo sound from the mouth if you do it hard enough, and for some reason it always made me crack up laughing...but really only when everthing else was quiet and you weren't supposed to make noise, and suddenly I'd hear the noise from behind me, or the next row where he sat, and nobody seemed to notice it but me; though of course some did but they didn't pay any attention to it. But yet it made me laugh, at a time when I should not have laughed, like in class while the teacher was talking, which is exactly why Tony did it all the time.

And it was the worst when he sat behind me in detention and did it. I was hiding my face in my folded arms on the desk trying to stifle my laughing so I wouldn't get in trouble, and the detention monitor said from across the room, to the kids around me, "Is he crying over there?" And when I said, because I was already in trouble, "Tell him to stop making that noise!" everyone looked at me like I was nuts.

And then in college we had this teacher who talked funny, and he ended every sentence with "heh." Like: "So we're going to discuss the FCC laws of 1983 regarding satellite TV, heh. Henry, please tell us what you learned in your research, heh." It wasn't a laugh-like heh, it was just the sound "heh". And he reminded me of Mr. Magoo...a lot. So often he'd be talking and I would chuckle and/or laugh under my breath and try to cough or something to cover it up. But sometimes I couldn't. Like when he was talking directly to me...and Henry nudged me, saying "He's talking to you and you're laughing right at him!" But I couldn't help it. I feel bad for the guy. I was so insensitive. If I ever met him again I'd surely give him a heartfelt apology, but when he said "I forgive you, heh," it would happen again, I know it.

5. what have you accomplished this week you're happy about?
Added a lot to my inspirational MySpace, and getting a lot of feedback about it.

6. if you had to describe yourself as a child in one word, what would it be?
Imaginative.

7. what was your very first job?
Cashier and stockboy at 7-11.

Jedi Master Harrison:

1. Tov, how are you feeling today?
A little stressed out about my condo situation, and my health, as my diabetes has been spiralling out of control over the past few months (though I only became aware of how bad it had gotten last month). But I am now exercising and taking medication so I'm feeling confident that I will beat this. But then there are more legal troubles regarding my condo so I'm facing more stress. And there you have it.

2. What's the latest with your home & job situation (if you want to talk about it, please just ignore if not)?
See part of last answer. My new job is working out pretty well and I'm doing very well there. As far as my condo, I won't learn until the end of this month, or beginning of next month, wether the bank will accept the sale offer somebody made on my condo. So it's a waiting game, still.

3. Which is your favourite of the Rocky films and why?
Rocky II. I love the end fight, with the finale the absolute best. I just love the emotion and the drama when Rocky gets up in the nick of time and the announcer says, "Rocky Balboa has shocked the world..." I also loved the first one, and the last one, quite a bit. But Rocky II had my favorite ending fight of all.

4. Who is your favourite boxer of all time?
Rocky Balboa, of course!

5. Who is your favourite sportsperson of all time?
Hard to say, as I don't follow sports. But I did like Evander Holyfield quite a bit. And back in the latter half of the 80's I was big into the NY Mets, and I liked Kieth Hernandez and Gary Carter quite a bit.

6. Would you like a postcard from Finland?
Are there many sharks in Finland? I'd be nervous there, seeing Fins everywhere. But yes, I'd like a postcard from Sharkland.

7. Have you got any tips for pulling ladies?
Why of course. Put them flat on the ground, grab them by the hair, with the locks wrapped around your closed hand, and walk in the direction you want to go, and pull her behind you. Be sure, of course, that she wears smooth clothing that slides effortlessly across tiled floors. And there you have it.

You dissappoint me, young Sarah. Those were the best questions you could come up with?

Ha! Zing!!! That's what you get for trying to take my place as Avatar King!

Alright, since it's you...
1. Why?
Of all possible questions you could have asked, why, oh why, did you ask "why"? Why, Sarah, why? I have but one logical response. Why not?
2. Is it true that I change my avatar now more than you, and should therefore be the new 'Avatar King (Queen)' of the Senate?
No. You're not taking into account the extensive amount of time I posted here, changing avatars almost every day and sometimes more often, than you. You still have a lot to learn, my young padawan.
3. Are you feeling disappointed that I have taken your place by way of ever-changing avatars?
It's more about quality than mere quantity, my very young apprentice.
4. I have a new idea for an avatar. Do you want to hear it?
Sure. Come tell me.
5. Disappointed that you can't hear it?
Oh but I will hear it, I will. Cordial Man will tell me.
6. Why seven, seriously?
Seven is the number of completion and fulfillment, God's number. Referance the bible for examples of God's constant usage of sevens in his actions and commands.
7. You have entered the Tomb of Rassilon. Do you seek immortality?
I went looking for Rassilon only to have him shine my shoes. I already have immortality through Yeshua HaMashiac.
