A New Hope

The galaxy is at war. The Imperial forces have begun to rule many parts of the galaxy by force and repression, under the leadership of Palpatine and Darth Vader, the former husband of Padmé Amidala and once a Jedi Knight.

The Imperial Senate is rapidly dwindling in size and power as the Emperor keeps his emergency powers given to him twenty years before, during the Clone Wars. With the Senate in stagnation, little can be done to aid the beleagured people of the galaxy

A huge superstation, codenamed DEATH STAR, brainchild of the Geonosian archduke Poggle the Lesser and now Grand Moff Tarkin, is about to become operational. It can destroy whole planets and Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan is heading home after the capture of secret plans, the only hope for freedom in the galaxy…</span>

Nobody's posting, so I'm going to break the rules and post again.

The ship shudders again. The scene cuts to the two droids, as we know them at the beginning of A New Hope.

C-3PO: Did you hear that? They shut down the main reactor. We'll be destroyed for sure! And that Darth Vader, with everything I've heard about him ... we'll be shown no mercy.

R2-D2 beeps

"What!? What's that you say?? Make an escape attempt when we are going to be caught anyway!!!????" — goldenrod

[shot-Star Destroyer Bridge]

Vader stands, watching the pursuit
Commander-"We have them in our tractor beam, my lord. Shall we finish them?"

(if no one else posts here in 2 days I'll keep posting all the way to the ending credits)

"No. There are no readings of any life-forms. Track their progress." — Vader

Commander-"Yes, My Lord"

-Vader turns and leaves the bridge, heaing for the docking port

Vader walks down the hall of the ship as blasters bolts suddenly come at them, as they turn a corner from a large group of Rebel Garrison.

With the Rebels in chaos , the Sith Lord walks into the depths of the ship followed by his trusty Major :

Major, eliminate all resistance....I want those plans before Governor Tarkin can report my failure to protect them to the Emperor.

Cut to Tatioone
On board the Sand crawler
Two Jawas stand looking on to a scanner. There is nothing, other than general debris. Then a bleep comes up on the screen. A high visual scan shows the faint gold silluette standing on a huge sand dune.

[Lord Rocha]

Then one Jawa turns into the other and shouts

Butini !

[Erick Landrider]

Threepio stands outside the sand crawler as it aproaches him, stopping just a few feet away

A jawa gets out holding a strange gun

(lets try to make this humorous in a Lucas-like way

[Lord Rocha]

( I am not very funny ??? )

Threepio shouts :

Oh my !, what is that for ?...Where is the creator when I need him !?

(Awe, just give it a shot. I not all that funny either)

threepio spots the suction tube (the thing that sucked up artoo into the sand crawler) and senses the obvious danger

3P0-"I'm sorry. But if I inquire, what is that tube fo..."

[Lord Rocha]

The Jawa goes desperate thanks to the even more desperate words that C3-PO is using and shoot him , blowing his left foot away.

C3-PO ran to his foot and shouts ' Oh my, why all these things happen to me !' and then when he just took the foot he is sucked by the tube.

Lars homestead

Owen stands outside the domed house, looking out to the North and occasionally glancing South, waiting for the Jawas and watching for Luke to return from the Toshi Station

[Lord Rocha]

Meanwhile Luke is driving his aged landspeeder and is hearing -and singing- the newest hit of the Max Rebo Band ( the song is the same to the one at Jabba'a Palace).

Then he arrives to the homestead and sees Owen's angry face.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke hops out of the Land speeder, with a tool-set in his hand; looking sheepishly guilty

Owen stomps up to him

Owen-"Luke! I have told you once, I've told you a hundred times. Waste your time after your chores are done. And if you do then you had best not count that time on your time card!"

[Lord Rocha]

Luke puts a very "inocent boy" face and says to his uncle :

I am sorry uncle Owen, but at least I am at time to help you buy the new droids for the farm that if ....the Jawas havent passed yet ?

Owen sees him with an angry look and Luke walks inside :

I really want to leave..I dont want to be stuck here for ever .(seeing Shimi's Skywalker grave)

Inside the house

Owen-"Luke we've had this discussion before. You don't know what kind of a galaxy it is out there. It's not just a bunch a sand-people and krayt dragons. {looks Luke in the face} Some people would risk death to have a simple life like this. Not having to worry about so much."

[Lord Rocha]

Then Beru enters the room :

Honey, the food is almost ready (refering to Luke). Owen (with cold eyes) the Jawas are going to be here very soon, they were saw at Gardulla the Hut landbridge some minutes ago.

[Erick Landrider]

Owen-"I know, the jawas are late again per usual. {looks at a sulking Luke} Just remember what I told you Luke. You have no idea what you're wanting to get in to."

Luke-{under his breath}-"I know what I want to get out of."

[Lord Rocha]

Another Scene :Meanwhile on the majestic and brand new Battle station codenamed Death Star a group of officers is discussing the current offensive planned to end the Rebellion once for all.

Admiral Motti is the first to talk in the group gathered around a black table :

The Imperial Fleet is under constant attack by Rebel terrorists...we need to gather the whole Rebel Army and then wiped it like we did in the Clone Wars...this insurgency is provocated by the impertinents of the Senate...

[Erick Landrider]

Officer-"Don't even compare these children to the Seperatists. History will see this as little more than a blemish on the eternal reign of the Galactic Empire."

[Lord Rocha]

Then General Tagge - which such arrogance and ineptitute- interrupts them :

Anyway...the Rebels cant damage the current project of Governor Tarkin, Admiral. They can be a threat to your fleet but not to this battleship !

[Erick Landrider]

Motti-"How do you expect a military government to be commanded by one Battle Station, even one so great as this Death Star?"

[Lord Rocha]

Then Governor Tarkin entered the room, followed by the Sith Lord appointed by the Emperor to supervise the construction of this lethal weapon.

Tarkin : The Senate is not longer something to worry about...the Emperor has declared a state of emergency and the last remains of the corrupt and old order have been swept away by our majesty !

[Erick Landrider]

Motti-"You can't be serious! It's impossible. The Senate is the only means of direct control of singular systems. And with a reduced battle fleet, it will the Emperor maintain control with out the Beaurocrats?"

[Lord Rocha]

Tarkin takes a hard look on Motti :

Always complaining...Admiral. The Emperor has given direct authorization to the Planetary Governors ,that are under his complete control, to manage their systems without the interference of the Rebels hosted inside the Senate Chamber and dont forget that this battle station will maintain order by the power of fear !

Vader doesnt agree.

[Erick Landrider]

Tagge-"We don't need a Galactic fleet, Admiral Motti. All we need is an indisputable threat to any planet or system in the galaxy. That is what this is. That is what the Death Star is, for the galaxy."

[Lord Rocha]

Vader then appears on the conversation.

Dont be so sure of the power of this mounstrosity, generals...the power of destroying a planhet is insignificant comparated to the power of the Force !

[Erick Landrider]

Tagge-"Lord Vader, all due respect. What has the force done for the Empire. It did nothing to stop the Jedi from being slaughtered in the Clone Wars, and it had nothing to do with the healing of the galaxy after the wars. Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerors ways Lord Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient religon hasn't helped you conger up those hidden data-tapes or made you clair-voyant enough to find the Rebels hidden fortr..."

[Lord Rocha]

(I love that part !!)

The face of Tagge changes in a second, he isnt breathing and the Moff knows that Vader is the responsible of all this :

Vader, enough. How will our Emperor react to your hostility to this...crucial and vital project for our New Order...a plan created since Geonosis and now near reality !?

[Erick Landrider]

Vader-"I Fail to see how one less politacal general will effect those plans." continues to choke Tagge

[Lord Rocha]

The depth eyes of Tarkin glowed like red fire, Vader knew that his stubborn charisma was going to take him to problems with his great and supreme Emperor.

Tagge feel to the floor almost dead and Tarkin shouts for help :

Medical support to the Conference Room (and then watching Vader) and prepare a Comm link with the Imperial Palace !

[Erick Landrider]

Vader t still stands with his hold of Tagge

Tarkin-"Vader! Release Him!"

Vader backs off

[Lord Rocha]

Scene Cut :

Luke is watching the burial place of his grandmother, Shmi.

His eyes are nostalgic when the roaring sound of a Sandcrawler disturbs the peace of the desert.

Owen shouts :
Luke , the Jawas are here

[Erick Landrider]

Luke turns and runs over to his Uncle

(remember they came out of the house to meet the Jawas, we can find a way)

Owen-"Did you get those problem reports from that set of vaporator valves that I wrote up?"

Luke looks confused

[Lord Rocha]

For what to select the droids due to their habilities, uncle ?

Said Luke meanwhile he entered the tiny homestead for the reports.

[Erick Landrider]

Owen-"Like I said before, we need an astro-droid and maybe a translator. We have those Bocce collector's coming in a few weeks and I don't want a repeat of our last would-be-sale."

Glares at Luke

Luke smiles sheepishly

[Lord Rocha]

The giant sandcrawler stops and a pair of Jawas came out from it, escorting a dozen of droids, half of them almost destroyed, the other half damaged beyond repair....except for 2 shiny ones.

Luke advances towards the droids meanwhile his uncle talks to the Jawas.

[Erick Landrider]

Owen-{talking with the Jawa} Just promise me it won't happen again, those faulty valves cost my family a pretty credit."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke heads to a R5 unit that could be a good adquisition for the farm.

Meanwhile Owen brings into his attetntion a gold droid, a protocol droid.

[Erick Landrider]

its R5

Luke-"Hey, what do we have here. Nice outer-frame. You look okay from the outside. {whispers}How long ya' been with these creeps?

R5-D4 makes a sympathetic,light trill

Luke chuckles lightly

[Lord Rocha]

Owen is talking to the droid :

Hey you !?, can you speak Bocce ?

If 3PO could have a human face he could be smiling.

[Erick Landrider]

3P0-"Of coarse, I can sir like a second language to me. I am fluent in over 6,000,000 forms of.."

Owen-"Alright shut-up.I'll take this one."

[Lord Rocha]

The Jawas look real happy for the great deal they have done with the farmers.

After Owen paid them he began murmuring : These droids are expensive...I should go to Mos Espa or Mos Eisley

And then....

[Erick Landrider]

3P0 comes up from behind Owen

3P0-"Oh thank you sir. I thought those hideous beasts would be the end of me. I promise you that as long as I am in your service I will work my hardest for.."

Owen-"Okay! Your welcome."

This sends Owen over the edge

[Lord Rocha]

Then another blow for Owen's patience...

The R5 explodes and Luke shouts :

Uncle Owen, the R5 is damaged, I think its...

[Erick Landrider]

"...internal processor is bad. No wait, this R2 unit has a bad motivator, look!"

Owen looks down at the Jawa cheif who has already started a jiberish rebuttel in his defence

[Lord Rocha]

Then the golden figure of C3-PO sugests Luke :

I am sorry sir, but this Astromech unit (looking to R2-D2) looks in better health that the R5 .

Luke agrees with a simple yeah

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"Hey Uncle Owen, that blue one doesn't look to bad. Why don't we just make it a fair trade and give them back their R5?"

The Jawa agrees in a very good salesman way.

[Lord Rocha]

Owen looks the Jawa :

We have a deal. Luke clean and program those droids , I wanted them ready before nigth !

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"But I was going to head in to Toshi station to pick up some power converters! The droids can wait until tomorrow, can't they?"

Owen is not impressed

[Lord Rocha]

(lets add something normal in this kind of families)

Owen looks into Luke in such frustrated way...

Luke, I have given you my home, my food, my credits during all your life after the dead of your father and thats what I get....everything of that class of fun can wait, just like the Academy.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"But..

Owen-"You can waste your life with your friends when your chores are done. Now come on, get to it."

I'm pretty sure we have butchered the original dialogue from that scene. Oh well.

[Lord Rocha]

Luke enters the homestead followed by the droids.

The big one is talking to the small astromech :

You are lucky I saved you, If it wasnt for me !

[Erick Landrider]

R2 lets off a few slinky chirps

3P0-{to Luke}"Artoo and I both most fortunate to have been saved from those awful scavengers. We are most lucky indeed."

Luke isn't paying attention, as he turn on the oil bath and grabs his partially completed T-16 model

[Lord Rocha]

C3-PO trying to find attention ,again talks to his new Master :

Sorry, sir . But what is your name ?

[Erick Landrider]

Luke grabs fixes fills the bath washer with oil

Luke-"Luke Skywalker. The oil washer is ready for you when your ready."

Luke walks over and fixes the cockpit on the T-16 model

3P0 walks onto the platform

[Lord Rocha]

And thinks...what a coincidence !, It can be true...Another Skywalker. He must be sure :

Master Luke, where we are?

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"Aaah. Whats it matter. You've probably never heard of the hunk of rock anyway."

3P0 is looking around the garage, thinking it looks some what familiar

[Lord Rocha]

Luke then walks into the small astromech droid and notices a problem.

Hey buddy, you have something inside there.

R2-D2 refuses to be handled and Luke , angry, walks for some tools
3PO then walks next to R2-D2 and says :

He doesnt like you at all, he hates you
(Artoo beeps very saddly)
And I dont like you neither. Added C3-PO.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke makes another attempt to calm R2

Luke-"Bud, I know that can't feel all the best. {Artoo still hesitates} Allright I just clean around it and leave it in there.Is that okay."

R2 trills quietly in a trusting tone

[Lord Rocha]

Then a holo message appears to the suprise of C3-PO and Luke, no one expected that such damaged droid could project an image like that, of a beautiful girl.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke is stunned by the image.

Luke-"She's beautiful. Is she some kind of Senator or something? My gosh, she beautiful."

3P0 looks at the image, knowing she looks familiar

[Lord Rocha]

The Senator talks , she looks desperate and the few words Luke can hear are the following :

Obi-Wan Kenobi help me...you are my only help !

Then the Image dissapeard and reappeard.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-{under his breath}"Kenobi? She mean Ben? Obi-Wan?"

he continues to stare

The droids continue to argue

3P0-"Well, you recorded the message, you should know who it was that pur the message there."

[Lord Rocha]

How you dont know how the message got there, you stupid !

Argued 3PO but then the message dissapeard after Luke tried to pull out the disk.

Hey, where is the message?. Shouted Luke and then 3PO (very angry) said to R2-D2 :

The One you were transmiting...you piece of junk with wheels !

[Erick Landrider]

Luke hears his Aunt Beru calling him.

Luke-"Oh forget. See what you can do with him. Maybe he'll warm up to another droid."

Luke storms out

[Lord Rocha]

C3-PO attacks- verbaly- the poor Astromech Droid.

Where is the message ? ...you know that the Princess did that in the middle of the emergency ..you bucket with wheels !.Now he doesnt like you for complete...he hates you as well I !

(R2-D2 beeps "crying' beeping)

[Erick Landrider]

R2 lets of a light trill

3P0-"Enough of this imagianry mission. We are property of the Master Luke. He bought you and you owe him every thing right now."

R2 gives a few angry chirps

3P0-"You can't leave. Master Luke has no reason to keep you together as it is."

[Lord Rocha]

C3-PO sees how R2-D2 is leaving him :

Artoo !, Artoo !, Where are you going !!, Dont leave me !

But the small Astromech Droid was very far now.

[Erick Landrider]

3P0 tries to go after R2, but he sees Luke coming out of the Lars home and decides that hiding would be the better alternative

[Lord Rocha]

Luke , indeed, isnt very happy and when he enters his room he notice that ist is very calm and quiet...then C3-PO appears , another of his glorious accidents, and Luke asks to him :

Where is the other droid ? The small one ?

C3-PO (If he could cry) pledged :

He went that way...I warned him, Master Luke ...but that machine is incoherent, he went for Obi-Wan Kenobi !

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"You have got to be kidding me."

3P0-"I'm afraid not, sir. I sorry! There was nothing I could do."

Luke runs out looking into his binoculars

[Lord Rocha]

Luke doesnt support the cold of the desert and replies :

That little droid is causing me a lot of problems....and its too dangerous to ran after him at night. With those sandpeople....this family has suffered a lot thanks to them !

[Erick Landrider]

3P0-"Oh he excells at that sir. Perhaps if we're lucking we will find him already in pieces and those sand people, will have saved us the trouble."

Luke gives him a wry smile

[Lord Rocha]

Luke then says :

Well, anyway we are going to wait until he morning...but I am in big troubles due to that droid !

[Erick Landrider]

SCENE CHANGE

The sand crawler is stopped after a good days work

Two sand-troopers walk towards the stationary vehicle

One of them tries to use a loud speaker to get the attention of the Jawas

Trooper-"You are being ordered to leave your vehicle and surrender immediatly in the name of the Empire. Any resistance will be met and dealt with."

Several Jawas come out of the sand crawler, jibberishly arguing amongst themselves

[Lord Rocha]

One of the Sandtroopers take a close look into the Sandcrawler and enters the vehicle. The vehicle was filled of damaged droids and many other junk.

Then he sees a golden rod on the floor, similar to the one they found in the desert, the sandtrooper took his communicator and said : We found the trail, Sir.

CHANGE SCENE

[Erick Landrider]

3P0 sits lifeless in the garage, in the early morning

Luke enters, trying to avoid being seen

He flicks 3P0's activation switch

3P0-"Oh, my! I'm terribly sorry master..!!"

Luke covers 3P0's mouth

Luke-"Shut up. I'm trying to do this with out getting caught, remember. Now come on."

They leave the garage

Luke walks by a door and before he realizes it come face to face with Beru

[Lord Rocha]

Luke , What are you doing? , is so late son...

Then she sees C3-PO

And Luke replies :

Fixing these droids, they have...many problems, Aunt Beru.

[Erick Landrider]

Beru-"I'd have thought you would have been done by now."

Luke tries to think quickly

Luke-"Yeah, but since I was getting up early to do some things today, I figured I could work on the droids now, in the morning."

Beru eyes him

Beru-"Well alright. Be careful."

Beru walks back into the kitchen, as Luke exhales and looks at 3P0

3P0-"But master, Luke I thought we were going to look for R2."

Luke smacks the droid with a small tool in his hand, trying again to silence him

[Lord Rocha]

Luke then repeats :

As I have said...its too dangerous, now shut your self off !

Luke leaves the room and C3-PO is thinking for the safety of his little companion.

END SCENE

[Raganork8]

Open to homestead out side about a yard away quickly changes to inside, owen is obviously looking for some one or something after awhile he stops and sit to himself:
"That boy better be fixin' them droids or so help me..." his voice trails off and he walks out with a swipe we see the landspeeder moving quickly across the desert and we here C-3po.
"Do you think perhaps he'll be in one peice?"
"I hope so but, I really doubt it that little droid shouldn't even try to pick a fight with a jawa let alone go out alone at night"-luke
Suddenly there is a beep from the landspeeder.

[Lord Rocha]

SCENE CUT

Darth Vader was walking through the corridors of the monster created by the dreams of the Moff Tarkin when an officer runs to his side, the same one who supervised the destruction of the Consular ship.

Lord Vader, we have reports that the plans mightbe storaged inside some droids and that these are currently free on the planet Tatooine.

Vader is angry, why Tatooine ?!. Then he replies :

Send some ships, those plans cant escape from that miserable outpost !...(looking the officer) dont say nothing to the wicked Governor !

The Officer replies : Yes my lord.

END OF SCENE

[Raganork8]

Swipe back to luke who has just found artoo.
"the hell is your problem,if your getting lost or damage wasn't my hide I'd give you to those blasted tuskens but since you are, get in the landspeeder!"
Mwanwhile threepio is getteing out
"oh artoo it's so good to see you in one piece"
"stay inside the damn speeder-!"
Suddenly there is a shot and the camera quickly pans to a tusken holdin a rifle.
"BY the maker!" threepeeoh exclaims luke runs to the landspeeder and as he does mumbles.
"Were in trouble!"

[Lord Rocha]

That single Tusken becames many more, a full group of sandpeople ready to ambush the farmboy and his problematic droids. Luke now notices that this was a trap after seeing some Banthas in the road.

[Raganork8]

Quickly a tusken pops up behind artoo and luke pulls out a rifle of his own and shoots the tusken in the head, but as more and more tuskens appear luke loses ground and eventually the gun is shot out of his hand, threepio meanwhile has hidden under the speeder.
A tusken has picked up artoo and begun to run away with the beeping droid, trying to save the astromech luke runs in that direction but a tusken hit's him over the head with the handle of it's rifle, luke falls to the ground and the action remains there for 5 seconds then quickly moves to the tusken escaping with the artoo unit. A close up of it's face as the tusken mysteriously flies back dropping the artoo droid, five more tuskens jump to attention and the camera takes the view behind them to show a cloaked figure the tuskens lunge for it but a column of rocks mysteriously fall on them, slowly the figure walks a head the fallen rocks moving out of the way.
The scene shifts back to luke who is comatose and a lone tusken standing over him gaffi stick in hand ready to stab down,but as it does it obvious some force is pulling on the stick which soon after is launched from the tuskens hands, the tusken turns around sees the hooded figure and flees...

[Erick Landrider]

The hooded figure walks up to Luke, and grabs his wrist feeling a pulse

R2 beeps nervously, the figure removes his hood to reveal an old man, with a snow white beard and silver hair

Ben-"Well. Hello there, my friend."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke is suprised and shouts :

Ben, Ben Kenobi ?

Old Ben Kenobi just smiles.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"Always nice to see a friendly face in such hostile conditions."

Luke gets up, helped by Ben

Luke-"You're telling me."

[Lord Rocha]

No ones noticed, but C3-PO lies on the sandy floor.

Excuse me Master Luke, but I have some problems here...Oh my ...

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"Never fails. I'll have to oil those bolts again, when we get home."

Ben looks at Threepio, curiosly

[Lord Rocha]

Then the old man asks the young man :

What are you doing here ?, Its dangerous !

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-{glares at R2}-"This little droids. He claims to be the property of a Kenobi. Something like Obi-an or something."

Ben's eyes perk up

Ben-"Obi-Wan?"

[Lord Rocha]

Do you know him ?. Asks Luke with the curiosity of a young child.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"Your Uncle would probably prefer you not to hear this. Ofcoarse I know. I known him my whole life."

[Lord Rocha]

So this droid is yours (refering to R2 ) he is communicating that Obi-Wan Kenobi is his owner or some sort of that.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben winces a bit recognizing R2

Ben-"In all my years and travels I don't beleive I've ever seen this droid. Either one of them."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke confessed :

Then Obi-Wan reacts :

The Sandpeople can be scared but they returned and in big numbers, follow me Luke, to safe heaven.

Luke-"Alright. Let's take the speeder. Come on you two."

[Lord Rocha]

SCENE CUT

Kenobi's hut was located along a peak that showed an extensive Mesa once populated by the Sand People until a brutal action that happened just some decades away.

The hut was small, with a kitchen, a bed, a table and the necessary to survive, including some plantations that brought the food for the old man.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"The only thing he could do was be chained up by one of the Geonosian guards, with me and your mother. Then they released those giant creatures: the acklay, reek, and nexu. We actually managed to escape that fight, only to find our selves in the middle of the beginning of the Clone Wars."

Luke-"No my father didn't fight in the wars. He was a navigator, on a spice freightor."

[Lord Rocha]

Ben looked into the naive face of Luke :

Your uncle told you that ?...he never wanted to reveal the truth about your father to you.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"What truth?"

[Lord Rocha]

The old man looks the blue eyes of Luke. The same eyes of his father, the same look as Anakin. It was a crime to denie the reality of the father to his own son.

Anakin, your father, and I were great friends. We fought together as a team. He was a Jedi Knight protecting the Republic of Old, before the Regime everyone knows as the Empire....

He was very strong in the force, he was my student before...
(Obi-Wan closes his eyes) he was murdered by another of my students. One that wanted more power for himself, obsesed to be the most powerful jedi ever and that traitioned its own family and friends to reach the stars with his Emperor...Darth Vader.

Luke-"I wish I had known him. Might learn about myself, my family."

[Lord Rocha]

Kenobi looks into the young man he brought to Tatooine so many years ago. And replied :

I am sure you will know more about your father, Indeed, I have something for you ....

Kenobi walked to a small shelf where he took out a thick metalic stick that gave to Luke

....Your father's Lightsaber.

Luke-"Woah. He used this? Looks like its seen some action."

[Lord Rocha]

Kenobi laughs at Luke, if he knew all the adventures he saw with his father, and then he says to Luke :

You can keep it, it is yours...your Uncle never wanted to give it to you, he wanted a pacific life for you but I was waiting to give it to you when you were older.

Luke is still fascinating with the Lightsaber

Then Kenobi continues :

The Lightsaber....elegant weapon of old times when the Jedi protected the wise Old Republic until the greed and corruption of many killed our just regime...

Luke ignites the saber

Ben-"For over a thousand generations the Jedi knights were the keepers of the peace. They fought not as soldiers, but as simply stabilisors for the galaxy. Settling disputes, negotiations, ending fueds between ancient rivals. Only as a last resort was the Jedi's light saber to be used."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke then sees into Ben :

How did everything ended....the so-called Darth Vader is also involved in the destruction of the Old Republic ?

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-{bites his lip}"The Emporer condemmed the Jedi; called us traitors. He had countless Jedi killed in the destruction of the Jedi temple. Then Darth Vader betrayed the Jedi, plan to liberate Alderean. I lead the mission, as a favor to an old friend, Bail Organa. Vader told the Emporer, of the plan and lead the Imperial forces against them. Only two Jedi survived the onslaught. That began the Dark Time, the time of the Empire."

[Lord Rocha]

Then Luke's curiosity exploded when Kenobi said "Two Jedi"

Just Two Jedi survived the masacre? . Asked Luke.

Ben knew he had said to much to young Skywalker.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-Don't let it worry you, Luke. She remains safely anonymous at this point."

Luke wants to know more, but squirms instead, with curtiosity.

[Lord Rocha]

Ben Kenobi looked into Luke and asked :

Luke-"Well I don't know. I stumbled upon it while I was cleaning the droi.."

The image appears on Ben's small table.

Ben-"I seem to have found it."

[Lord Rocha]

The figure was that of Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan. Senator for her system in the Imperial Leader and opossitor to the New Order.

General Kenobi. You and my father were friends and heros of the Clone Wars , that war that ravaged the entire Galaxy and began the path to the period everyone knows as the Empire....

[Erick Landrider]

Leia-continued-"Because of your help, my father still remained in control of Alderean, keeping it from the grip of the Empire. Now he is being suspected of treason, and he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. However, my mission has failed and I have turned to desperate measures. The plans of the 'Death Star' project have been placed into the memory systems of this R2 unit. You must travel to Alderean, and have my father retrieve them. You must see these plans delivered safly to him on Alderean. All depends on that. This is our most desperate hour. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope."

The image fades and disappears from view

Luke sits in the chair taking it all in

And he just then said these words :

Obi-Wan looks into Luke and the young one knows he said to much.

Ben Kenobi: You must come with me to Alderaan if you are to learn the ways of the Force, Luke. It's what your father would have wanted.

Luke sits in the chair, in shock
-"Alderean! I can't go to Toshi Station for an afternoon, much less Alderean for however long it'll take for this to get settled. How would I explain it? And I got so much work to do."

Ben-"Luke, that's your uncle talking. Not you. You can't begin to tell me that you honestly want to stay here."

Luke grimases

"I s'pose I could take you as far as Anchorhead, and then you can find your own transport to Mos Eisley."

Cut to TIE Fighters zooming around the Death Star

Several generals are sitting in the conference room

"You do not know how much the Rebel Alliance is a threat to us! They have excellent starships, amazing firepower and well-trained personnel." — Motti

"Dangerous to your starfleet, Motti, not this battle station. Since Tarkin was given the now- stolen plans by Archduke Poggle of Geonosis, this Death Star is a much safer battle station!" — Tagge

[Erick Landrider]

Motti-"Don't underestimate them. They have more support in the Imperial Senate than the Emperor would have you know, and they will continue to gain support in the Imperial Senate, and.."

Tarkin-"The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any delema to our objective. As I said before the last bits and pieces of the old Republic are gone. This Rebellion, it is the remains of the parasites we should have destroyed at the outset. However not all need to be destroyed. Once we show the galaxy that this Death Star project is a success in every concievable way, the Rebellion will be overwelmed."

[Lord Rocha]

The Dark Helmeted character know as Darth Vader looked into Tarkin and with all his resolution he replied :

Your proud is your weakness, the power of this battlestation is insignificant to the power of....

The force . It was Tagge, he also added :

Its the 100th time you say that Lord Vader. Dont try to frighten us with your sorcerer's way, Vader. Your sad devotion to that ancient mythology has not helped you to conjure up those stolen plans or gifted you with the clairvoyance sufficent to locate the rebels !

Tarkin-"We will not go through this again! I trust Admiral Tegge's confidence is well placed. And Lord Vader speaks true of the situation. The Rebellion is weak and nealy defenceless, but that is when any creature is most dangerous. We cannot be caught of our guard, or else suffer the greatest of consequences."

[Lord Rocha]

Then an officer enters the room :

Governor, the prisioner Leia Organa of Alderaan is ready for the interview at her cell.

The Moff smiles and whispers perfect.

Vader walks out of the room

Motti-"Do we have any kind of idea of what shape their fleet is in?"

Tagge-"They don't have a 'fleet', Motti. They have young teens flying new age scout vessel and a few Old Republic cruisers. Nothing that could ever fully attempt an attack on the Death Star."

[Lord Rocha]

Then Motti looks into Tagge :

What about their new Incom T-65 Fighters they stole from our depots at Yaga Minor ? They outmatch our standard Tie's !

Tagge looks very indifferently to Motti and replied without interest :

We have numbers...they have good ships. We will destroy their X-Wings in case of an attack . Then he looked into Motti's eyes with compassion and said : Dont worry, we will defeat them.

SCENE CHANGE

Luke and Ben ride in the speeder.

Luke looks over at a small out cropping of rocks, where a cloud of black smoke is seen.

Luke-"Looks like someones in trouble. Uncle Owen won't like this, but..

Ben-"I'll be able to explain."

The speeder swerves towards the source of the smoke.

[Lord Rocha]

Obi-Wan Kenobi had a terrible feeling about all this. He thought It would be better for young Skywalker to avoid all this.

[Erick Landrider]

The speeder corners the out cropping of rocks, and the burnt out remains of a Sand Crawler, lie in the sand, smoldering.

3P0-"Oh, my."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke just muttered :

These are the Jawas who sold us the droids. The sand people must had taken revenge...

Ben looked into the face of the young man and admitted :

The Sandpeople always try to attack in such way they can hide their numbers...these organizated steeps and such precise currency can be only of Imperial Stormtroopers.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"But why. Looks like the Sand People did though. Bantha tracks and gaffi sticks everywere. But I've never seen them hit anything this big before. The worst I ever heard was a hunting party killing some 35 farmers, on a rescue mission."

[Lord Rocha]

Ben looked into naive Luke Skywalker :

Young Luke, these is all fake. Its very probable that the Imperials were looking for the droids...look these holes in the sandcrawler...

Luke now fears the worst.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke stares at the wheels of the Sand Crawler

Ben-"They are to strategically placed. The Sand people don't have the co-ordinated skill to follow through with an attack such as this. There are none with the physical capabilities and the numbers to stop a vehiclesuch as this. Only Imperial Storm Troopers are so presice."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke is annoyed by Ben, he only talks about Imperial Stormtroopers. Then he realizes something :

Home !

Shouted Luke with desperation just when the droids and Ben went off the landspeeder.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"Wait Luke. It's to dangerous!"

Luke flies off in his speeder

Ben-"You don't know what you're up against."

[Lord Rocha]

Tears came from Luke's eyes meanwhile he was driving his old landspeeder. Then reality shock him...he saw a smokescreen coming from his homestead.

Then he aproximated to the small building and saw a terrible image, the skulls of two adult humans, His family.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke gets out of the speeder. He stares at them, he turns around and collapses, right in front of Shmi Skywalker's grave.

[Lord Rocha]

Then he talks to himself :
I promise that this act of brutality is going to be punished !

Luke sees the twin suns ,crying.

Luke gets up and goes back to his land speeder.

He wipes the last of his tears away as he turns the speeder around and heads back to the Sand crawler

SCENE CUT

The detention block of the Death Star at level 5 was were Princess Leia Organa was held by her Imperial captors.

She was calm awaiting for news when Lord Vader and his Moff walked to her cell. She saw them with certain defiance.

[Erick Landrider]

Tarkin-"I hope your conversation with Lord Vader be productive."

He nods at Vader

A pair of Storm Troopers walk into the room.

Vader-"Now, your highness, we will discuss the location of your hidden Rebel base."

A small,hovering interogation droid enters the room.

[Lord Rocha]

SCENE CUT

Luke's landspeeder aproaches the burning Sandcrawler.

Ben Kenobi was been helped by C3-PO to take the rests of the Jawas murdered by the Imperial troops. When Ben threw everything he ahd over his hands and walked to the young man.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"They're dead. My home is gone."

Ben puts his hand on Lukes shoulder

Ben-"There's nothing you could have possibly done had you been there Luke. You'd have been killed too, and the droids would now be in the hands of the Empire. Don't let your guilt linger, be mindful of the moment."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke then looks into old Ben :

I want to join you, go to Alderaan and convert into a Jedi like my father before me, there is no hope or future for me here, not anymore.

CUT SCENE

[Erick Landrider]

Liea lies on the steel on in her cell

The needle of the mind probe is stuck into her stomach.

Vader stands aside, interogating her

Vader-"Princess with each passing moment you endanger those who you love, even more. You can't comprehend the consequences if you should stall any longer."

Liea groans, feeling the pain of the mind probe, as the heated needle increases its doses of an interogation drug

[Lord Rocha]

Vader is angered. Is this possible ?...The Princess prefered to die than to tell the location of the Rebel Base.

A nearby Stormtrooper refers to his master :

More of that dosis could be lethal for the prisioner, sir.

Vader is desperate :

End this....We need her alive, she is showing a will of iron and a resistance difficult to see from someone who cant use the force as an allie.

SCENE CHANGE

The Lars Homestead, as Luke stands over the newly dug graves of Owen and Beru.

Obi-Wan stands at his side
-"None have been as loyal or as protective to a child than I have ever known. They held true to their promise to the end."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke asks to Kenobi :

What does means those words, Ben ?

The old Jedi Knight just replies :

There is nothing to do here, lets head for Mos Eisley.

Luke takes one last look at his seragate families grave site and walks away

SCENE CUT

Mos Eisley appears to the eyes of everyone in the landspeeder.

C3-PO could not be more disgusted by the scene that gave the city to its visitors.

A city filled with dirt, sand and stone small buildings. With jawas as begars in the streets and with some stormtroopers guarding the city entrance.

The land speeder flies by a small group of Jawas, who take a perticualar interest in the droids

The Jawas are left standing there as if someone took their ice cream and went home with out offering any to them. They can taste the saliva as they turn with disappointment. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unhappy.gif

Ben is not impresed by the city,C3-PO is horrorized but Luke looks with wonder the small lawless spaceport.

The speeder is parked near the principal street and Luke asks Obi-Wan what to do :

Ben replies :

It would be easy to find a smuggler that can take us to Alderaan, lets probe the local cantina.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke-"I don't like the looks of this place. Or the smell for that manner."

A sand trooper brigade walks up to the foursome

Trooper-"Are these your droids?"

[Lord Rocha]

Kenobi decided to answer :

Yes, these are my droids.

Then he stared the Imperial soldier .

[Erick Landrider]

Trooper-"How long have you had them?"

Luke-{nervously}-"About 3 or 4 seasons."

Trooper-"I thought they were his droids." {gesturing towards Ben}

[Lord Rocha]

Then Ben smiled and looked into the White helmeted figure .

Luke still is gulping meanwhile the droids were inmobile.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"It doesn't matter."

Trooper-"I doesn't matter. I want to see your identification, boy."

[Lord Rocha]

Ben replied :

You dont need to see his identification card.

The trooper answered :

I dont need to see his identification card.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"These arne't the droids you're looking for. Check the next speeder."

Trooper-"These aren't the droids we're looking for. We should check the next speeder."

[Lord Rocha]

Ben replied :

We are stopping the traffic, we should move now.

And the stormtrooper said :

Move now, move now.

[Erick Landrider]

Luke stares at Ben, in shock; but flies the speeder to a near by Cantina

Ben-{thinking}"Countless DNA tests to make them impossible to destroy and a simple mind trick works on them."

[Lord Rocha]

Then Ben says :

Right there, there is a good place to stop.

C3-PO replies :

I dont think so Master. There are some Jawas in the near by.

[Erick Landrider]

Ben-"You should worry yourself like that my gold friend. The lowlyesy(sp) things often match their status with their courage."

3PO-"I know Master Kenobi, it's just {speeder stops} I can't abide those Jawas disgusting creatures."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke just said :

Oh Threepio....

And Artoo replied with some whistles.

[Erick Landrider]

3PO-"I'm sorry Master Luke. I had some harsh experiences with those creatures."

[Lord Rocha]

Luke just smiled, he didnt knew the terrible things C3-PO had endured in that harsh planet since its creation.

Luke looks back at the Sand Troopers

Ben tries to calm him down
-"Don't worry. They don't remember a thing. They won't come after us."

Luke-"I just don't know how we got past those troops. I thought we were dead!"

Luke and Obi-Wan are walking through the small streets of Mos Eisley. Luke is leading the old Jedi throught the puzzled streets and they entered the small path to the Cantina.

There were some banthas, dewbacks and Rontos outside the cantina. C3-PO was , of course, disgusted by that.

Luke-"It's alright 3PO. They're under control.{3PO is still skiddish} Oh come on."

[Lord Rocha]

Everyone enters the Cantina, they go down some stairs and Luke stares to the scene.

So many species in a same crowded room. Biths, Humans, Wookies, Duros, Uvenians and Ithorians in the same room, everyone enjoying the sound of the local band.

Then Luke hears a shout :

Their kind is not allowed inside !

Luke-"Huh? What?"

a Bith steps up

Bith-"The droids kid."

Bar tender-"Your droids."

Obi-Wan nooded

Luke walked to threepio and said :

Maybe it would safer for you outside.

C3-PO agreed :

Ben-"With the Empire looking for them any two droids would look suspiscious. Don't worry. I already took care of any Imperial intervention."
