For my 501st thread, I'm starting a discussion thread on the 501st a.k.a "Vader's Fist.

Thanks to whatever mod that moved it. I wasn't allowed to start new threads in the Jedi Library for some reason.

I wonder who the voice of the Imperial Officer that says "The day is ours. Well done gentlemen!" belongs to. I think it might be Lt. Daine Jir, an aide to Lord Vader stationed aboard the ISD Devastator, and who was seen talking to Lord Vader in the halls of the Tantive 4 in ANH. (He's the one who thinks that holding her might be dangerous). His voice also sounds a lot like that of the man who says the well done quote, so I think it's him. And what of Commander Praji, the man who reports to Vader about how the plans are not on the main computer or on boar, and whom The Dark Lord directs to search the planet below. I would not be surprised if he were part of the 501st. And General Maximillian Veers seems to have had authority over the 501st as well, as he was the head of all the Death Squadrons ground forces, and was trusted and respected by Lord Vader. That, and he was the man in charge according to both Battlfront 2 and ESB of the Hoth Mission.

"The day is ours gentleman."
"Good work gents, Lord Vader will be most pleased"
I want it to be Veers, but I know it isn't.

perhaps there was a Clone Commander Massacrus at one point?
Seriously though, I wonder if any of the 501st that quelled the Jedi Insurrection in the Temple saw a flow-walking Jacen Solo?

alright, alright. Cyde: who do think Commander Appo was replaced with?
accordin to wookiepedia Commander Appo was replaced by a Commander Bow. Sad really, he was my favourite, it was one of my 3 saddest moments in star wars
1(Clones turning evil
2(death of vader
3(readin wookiepedia then realising Appo eventually died
ps: apparently the clone on the cover of BF 2, was Appo

wookiepedia is not official, so take things they say with a gallon of salt...
BTW: 501st Legion is in Dark Times.....

Wookiees wrong on Bow. He doesn't exist. (And don't even think of saying "Well actually, no SW characters exist.")

In Dark Times 1, there is a clone commander mentioned as being part of the 501st. What again was his name....
