Did anyone see some of the star wars robot chicken episodes?
you can find them at google video by searching for robot chicken.

OMG, the two I've seen are hilarious. I'll search for them later. My absolute favorite is the Palpatine one where Vader calls after the first Death Star is destroyed. HILARIOUS!

^That one is CLASSIC!
"Oh geez. He's crying!"
EDIT: But I don't think this belongs in the fan film section. Maybe I'm wrong.

I agree. I was confused to see it here. I thought I saw a similar thread in the "General Star Wars" section, but I decided to post in this one.

It's pretty impressive how many guest stars they get on that show. Many times it's several per episode.

Yeah, they got Mark Hammil to do Luke's voice for one, and had basically the entire cast of "That 70s Show" for a sketch about "That 00s Show" which was hilarious!

That OOs Show was pretty good.
I haven't seen much of RC, but the best was probably Justin Timerlake versus Britney Spears, so here's a link to Weasel Stomping Day:

This is the only program on Adult Swim that I do watch. Kinda. The only one I know anything about, at least.
I'm excited for both this, and the Family Guy episode Blue Harvest.

Yeah, some stuff fell flat... but others were cunningly brilliant fanboy satire.
I loved the poor janitor who kept having to clean up the falling bodies, LOL.
Janitor sweeping... two halves of Darth Maul hit the floor in front of him.
"I gotta get that transfer to Coruscant..."
Later, Janitor sweeping and dead body of Mace Windu hits the floor in front of him...
"I gotta get that transfer to the Death Star"
Even later, Janitor sweeping and Palpatine falls in front of him...
"Ah come on! What are they doing up there?"
Kapit

Admiral Ackbar Ceral was, by far, the best sketch, just to watch him run in and yell "IT'S A TRAP!" and shove the bowls of oatmeal out of the way. I could not stop laughing after that
EDIT: If you use blogs and that, you can go to adultswim.com and get embeddable versions of all the sketches, or watch the entire episode for free too

Oh man, that Jar Jar sequence was too funny. The fact that they got Ahmed Best to come in and do the voice too was just too perfect.
Also, amazing mention has to go to the Boba Fett sketch, which ended so wrongly but we all know it's true.
Honestly, I don't think anything in this show feel flat. It really was just a laugh a minute riot of hilarity from people that know what they're talking about.

Oh man, that was a terrific show! I couldn't stop laughing. My only gripe would be that it was too short! I know it ain't easy coming up with all of that stuff, but I'd rather they spent a little longer on it, and came up with a full hour. Oh well. maybe if they do a dvd, it'll have extra skits that didn't make it.
Oh, and yes, the Admiral Ackbar skit might be my favorite as well. I nearly spit out my drink when he runs into the room, "It's a trap!"

Pondo Baba was absolutely my favorite, followed by the Space Slugs. I also loved Empire on Ice. Seeing the troopers and the Imperial probe droid spinning around on skates, chanting to the Imperial March, was priceless. And Leia got to sing "scruffy nerf herder" as lyrics. It also reminded me of one of my favorite Star Wars Playsets as a kid. :)

Hey guys,
My name is Rachael and I am working in conjunction with Revolver, who are releasing the Robot Chicken:Star Wars DVD.
I know some of you already have it, but for any UK people on here (and those completists that want the Region 2 version as well) I'd like to give you a heads up on the UK Release. It's limited edition, and has a few extras that the US version lacks, including a collectors booklet and 3 bonus [adult swim] episodes!
Theres more info on our [adult swim] Facebook page here:http://www.facebook.com/pages/adult-swim-on-DVD/28807483626
including links to the cheapest places to get the Region 2 disc.
Feedback is really important to us, so if any of you purchase the R2 Disc, let us know what you think, does it compare well to the R1?
Many thanks,
Rachael
P.S Just to let you guys know, I've cleared this message with the moderators :)

Feedback is really important to us,
Your original thread labelled the show as a 'cheeky parody' - hardly!
It's humour is not cheeky, it's purile.
The show is not a parody, it's an insult.
Now, if Seth Green wanted to remake the entire Star Wars movie with the toys then that would be a cheeky parody, but Robot Chicken Star Wars fails as badly as Empire on Ice

JediBendu - I completely respect your opinion (and for giving me the feedback that I had asked for) but I feel that is open to discussion.
Do you feel that the Robot Chicken special is saying anything negative about the films? They certainly didn't offend Mark Hamill or George Lucas, who lent their voices to the piece.
And again, all feedback, negative or positive is very welcome.

the opening gag is toilet humour - what more needs to be discussed?
Do you feel that the Robot Chicken special is saying anything negative about the films?
Robot Chicken doesn't pay homage - it takes the piss. Some find that humour to be appealing - unfortunately the dumbing down of society is beyond my control!
They certainly didn't offend Mark Hamill or George Lucas, who lent their voices to the piece.
Hamill is happy doing anything that pokes fun at star wars and GL is piggy backing on the publicity.
Besides, does the Robot Chicken dvd have an extended interview with Lucas or footage of the producers touring skywalker ranch?
And again, all feedback, negative or positive is very welcome.
oh I'm sure the dvd will sell well, I myself will not spend any money on it other than buying a rip off copy for £2 from a dodgy chinese girl at dalston junction :)
