Oh Siri, I almost forgot...go to the library and check out the play "The Glass Menagerie." there are some good female parts in that, maybe you could find a monologue there. They also have specialized books that have monoloues in them.
If you're looking for something to sing, see if you can find one of those "Les Miserables" song books, there are some good singable songs in there. You can find those in music stores.
Does that help?

That reminds me of that scene in Tomorrow Never Dies (possibly the best 007 film, although my favorite will always be Goldfinger) when Bond shoots Vincent Schiavelli in the hotel room.
Javen
03-21-2003, 01:23 PM
Um...how exactly does that remind you of a scene in Tommorow Never Dies?(possibly the best 007 film, although my favorite will always be Goldfinger)
And what scene are you refering to?
Justin
03-21-2003, 07:35 PM
Remember when the guy has him sit on the bed in the hotel room and he's going to shoot him? Bond tricks him into shocking himself by trying to use Bond's cell phone, takes the guy's gun, holds it to the guy's head, and the guy says "I um just a professional do-ink a job!" to which Bond says "So am I," and then he shoots him.

Why do I always have sudden urges to get naked? I MUST KNOW, JUSTIN!!!
Justin
04-13-2003, 05:46 PM
You're probably an exhibitionist. You just need to remember that there is a time and place for getting naked, and when you're in public you should try and keep your urges under control until you can get to a place where nudity is A-OK.

Thanks.
On to a more serious matter: I used to like this girl. We were best friends moving on to more than that. Then, suddenly, she didn't want to and wanted to be just friends. I was okay with that.
But now she's getting married to some guy. I don't think it wise nor good for my health to continued being best friends. Besides, I don't think that the guy would like me going over to her house and hugging her, yet she still wants me to do these things.
I told her today why I haven't been too close to her lately, and she got kind of upset. What do you suggest I do?
Justin
04-13-2003, 06:18 PM
Well how do you feel about her, how does this guy feel about you, and how do you feel about this guy?

I don't know Whitesaber, I think if I were you I'd throw in the towel. That's not what I'm recommending you do, but it's how I would handle it.
I think the only way you two will be friends is if you see eachother when her husband isn't around, or if you talk on the phone or online.
Personally, I think it would be much easier on you if you simply part ways, because you obviously have strong feelings for her, and trying to be friends with her will only compound your frustraion at her not wanting to be with you, and married to someone else.
But if you think you can still be friends, or at least talk every once in a while, by all means do so.

I said, "You're getting married. I don't feel comfortable being your best friend anymore."
She said, "I can't believe you." And proceeded to tell someone else in the area that the reason I didn't want to ber her best friend anymore was because she was getting married.
Justin
04-17-2003, 07:32 PM
Whitesaber, you need to tell her WHY it makes you uncomfortable! You need to tell her that you have feelings for her that are stronger than friendship, and it's too hard for you to try and be friends with her when she's with another guy. If that's the case.
Bond, tell this girl you're gay.

You're right, I'm not.
