Do you use "View New Posts"?

Quite really a pointless poll, but one that's been on my mind for a while.

As soon as I get on the site, I immedietly use "View New Posts". I BARELY ever look through forums the normal way.

so, do you VNP?

That's what I check first when I log in. Then I'll move on to find any topics or threads that aren't there that I want to check.

You know, it took me a minute to realize that you were counting prior incarnations of the GS in your total. For a second, I was trying to figure out how you fit 7 years in between 2002 and 2006.

Now that we've got the User CP, I rarely use "View New Posts." I just go through my CP, one by one.

I check the forums that I have read all the posts in first to see if there have been any new posts, then I check the threads I am subscribed to.

After that (there are not normally that many new posts) I use VNP until I have run out of threads to wander through.

If I run out of threads in VNP (like now) I go forum surfing to find cool threads to revive (like this one!). :)
