Star Wars Titanium Die Cast Series

I haven't seen much talk about the new Die Cast Series so I thought I would start a topic.

I see a lot on the shelves in stores and they don't seem to be moving. To me they're overpriced and a little short on the detail. What does everyone else think of them? Does anyone know how expansive the line will get?

They are basically metal versions of the old Micro Machines (the figures, and maybe the ships too, are actually made by the Galoob division of Hasbro and they come with the old "Star Wars" stands) with some of the smaller pieces made out of plastic...

I'm looking for the silver (metal finish) version of Slave 1 and the wash (metal finish) of Vader and Fett.

My favorite "vehicle" is the Death Star, but its basically a metal golfball :p Oh and I really like the AT-AT and most of the others I've picked up.

I just got into the Titanium ships, I have a few at home and a TON on lay-a-way. I just got home with a Vader and Boba Fett Titanium figure. They look to be as close as I will ever get to the old Unleashed. I have seen the Sandtrooper and 501st trooper pictures and I like them. The Bossk figure leaves something to be desired IMHO.

If you are a Battlestar Galactica fan, you may want to keep an eye out for the BG Titanium vehicles mixed in with the Star Wars display. I think they are very cool.
