I have begun publishing a fan fiction under the thread "A Killer Among Us" and I am looking to get feedback on it. Please use this thread to post feedback, questions, etc regarding the fan fic as I will continue to post new installments of the story on the other thread.

First of all, I take a lot of liberties, so I don't want any purists saying, wait a minute, that doesn't fit the canon... this is my story, based in the Star Wars universe. I base most of my knowledge on the movies and not on a lot of EU books. I haven't read enough of them to know as many details, so I make my own details. The story is not supposed to follow directly to canon... it's supposed to be fun and intriguing.

Also, I should say in advance that it is PG at best, since it is a darker story about murder and a possible serial killer. While it's not too graphic, it does deal with violence and death. Just so you know in advance.

Since I know someone will ask, the time-period is sometime in the year before AOTC.

Hope you enjoy and thanks in advance for your help and feedback!

Added to the last post in the Fanfic thread, because I realized later that it got cut off. If you read it yesterday, there is the rest of the end of chapter two there now.

Chapter three will be posted soon. As alluded to at the end of Chapter two, there will be a cameo from an AOTC character.... we will also find our first clue as to why the Jedi are involved.

Please, if you are reading the fanfic, let me know. I'm very interested in thoughts and feedback. Don't stay silent, speak out in this discussion thread. I feel like I'm talking to myself. Maybe I am style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Thanks!

Chapter Three is done! Please offer some feedback here? Should I continue?

Chapter Four coming soon! Kane will check out another murder and get more clues to the mystery. He'll also have a run in with some unsavory characters who may be involved!

I'm reading it... I like it a lot actually, please continue! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

It really reminds me of Jack the Ripper; have you ever seen From Hell? Kane is kinda reminiscent of Johnny Depp's Inspector Abberline(?), especially with the substance abuse thing.

Please hurry and post more! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hehe.gif

Yay! Thanks for reading... it's good to know that I'm not the only one... LOL...

Anyway, thanks... and yeah, I did see From Hell, but never made the connection until now... that's a good point... I've always had a place in my heart for the flawed hero... because aren't we all in some way?

I'll say the same thing I said in the thread for "Trial..."

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>If nothing else, you have guilted me into continuing to posting them. I have been so busy with other stuff that these are on the back burner... I had no idea there was an interest in them continuing... so I'll do it... expect more soon...[/b][/quote]

Thanks for the encouragement...
